This is an initial privacy policy for the AKL Works website and early product pages. Product-specific privacy notices may be added or expanded before public app-store release, paid product launch, or live donation/payment activation. PDF Mechanic now has its own dedicated privacy page.

Product-specific privacy pages

Some products may have their own privacy notices when a store listing or public release requires them. For example, see PDF Mechanic Privacy. Acca Calculator is currently distributed through GitHub releases and support is handled by email.

Website data

The website is currently designed as a simple informational site. We may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, protect it, and understand general usage.

Email communication

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message content, and related communication metadata in order to respond.

Product data

Individual products may process additional data depending on their functionality. Social Reflection products may process message text submitted by the user. Utility Works products may process files, calculation inputs, local documents, or product feedback depending on the tool. Product-specific details should be reviewed before using each product.

Donations, payments, and future paid features

Donation buttons, subscriptions, paid downloads, or in-app purchases are not active on this website at the time of this policy version. If payment or donation options are enabled later, AKL Works may use external payment processors and process payment-related metadata needed for support, receipts, refunds, compliance, and fraud prevention.

Third-party services

AKL Works may use external service providers for hosting, email, analytics, authentication, storage, payment processing, and AI-assisted functionality. Specific providers and processing details will be documented as products move from testing to public release.

Retention and deletion

We aim to retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. For deletion or access requests, contact privacy@aklworks.com.

Updates

This policy may be updated as products are released, infrastructure changes, payment/donation options are added, or legal requirements evolve.
